On November 27, as part of our Community Service Committee, the Rotaract Club of Aley embarked on a meaningful visit to the deaf and blind center. This initiative ran parallel to Project Alexandria in Egypt, showcasing our commitment to serving communities on a global scale.
Following an insightful Professional Development session as part of the the Silent Impact Seroes, our team then visited a center for individuals with hearing and visual impairments, splitting into groups to engage with the deaf and blind communities.
Tailoring our approach to their unique needs, we organized visual games for the deaf participants, fostering a lively and inclusive atmosphere. Meanwhile, for the blind individuals, we facilitated song-based activities and a tactile experience with a 'what's in the box' game.
These visits form the core of our community service projects, offering firsthand insights into the impact of our efforts.
