For the third year running, Rotaract Clubs of Aley, De Beyrouth Millenium, and Rotaract Tyre, under the International Service Committee proudly presented Travel 301: From Lebanon to the World on February 24th, 2024.
This dynamic event offered a unique opportunity for participants to explore diverse cultures through 6 engaging workshops and activities.
A Journey Through Continents:
Rhythm and Passion: The session kicked off with the vibrant energy of Brazilian samba led by Sandra Abbas. Participants learned dance moves, immersed themselves in the music, and experienced the infectious spirit of Brazilian culture.
European Elegance: Next, the journey shifted to Europe, where participants explored the Italian language and history with Celine Hassan. This session provided insights into the rich heritage and influence of Italian culture.
Eastern Serenity: Moving to Asia, participants delved into the discipline and grace of Kung Fu under the guidance of Coach Bassam Nohra. Learning the fundamentals of this ancient martial art, they discovered the principles of balance and harmony.
Unfold Your Creativity: Alongside Kung Fu, participants practiced the meditative art of origami, finding tranquility in the precise folding of paper with the Zeyin Japanese Cultural Association.
